ANAHEIM, Calif. – Authorities in Anaheim are on the lookout for an individual captured on surveillance footage committing a disturbing act of animal cruelty, dropkicking a defenseless puppy multiple times.

The incident took place at approximately 8 a.m. on Sunday, April 7, in the vicinity of Brookhurst Street and the 5 Freeway. Surveillance footage captured the man in question, holding a small dog in one hand while carrying a bike in the other.

Before descending into a drainage ditch, the puppy can be heard crying out in distress. Subsequently, the man, after dropping his bike, mercilessly kick the puppy several times, causing it to wail in agony.
