AUSTIN, Texas – The Austin Police Department (APD) is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a robbery at a Dollar General store located in East Austin. The incident occurred at the Dollar General store situated at 5000 Springdale Road on February 7, around 1:27 p.m.

According to the authorities, the suspect physically assaulted an employee who attempted to intervene in the shoplifting incident.
Suspect Description
The suspect, depicted in the image above, is described as:
- Gender: Male
- Age: Between 30-40 years old
- Height: 6’0 or taller
- Build: Thin
- Hair: Short buzzed black hair
- Facial Hair: Black mustache/goatee
The suspect was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, dark sweatpants, and white/black tennis shoes.
