Top Performers in Wisconsin
Green Bay: Ranking No. 12
Green Bay secured the top spot among major cities in Wisconsin, earning an overall score of 6.7 with particular recognition for its value. The report emphasized the blend of big-city amenities with a cozy Midwestern ambiance that Green Bay offers. Notably, the presence of the Green Bay Packers and the city’s charming small-town atmosphere contributed to its high ranking.
Madison: Securing No. 14
Following closely behind Green Bay, Wisconsin’s capital city, Madison, claimed the 14th position in the rankings. Madison outperformed Green Bay in terms of quality of life, although it scored slightly lower in terms of value. The report highlighted Madison’s thriving business environment and educational opportunities, underscoring its status as a hub for healthcare, information technology, and manufacturing industries.
Milwaukee: Positioned at No. 112
While Milwaukee ranked lower among Wisconsin cities included in the report, it surpassed other major Midwest cities such as Chicago and Detroit. The report commended Milwaukee for its blend of historic architecture with modern developments, as well as its relatively affordable cost of living. Additionally, the city’s vibrant cultural scene, including Summerfest and its bustling nightlife, received recognition.
