ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – Authorities from the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office are actively investigating a robbery targeting a truck driver on Thursday night.

Deputies responded to CR 204 and US1 South around 10:15 p.m. after receiving reports of the incident. According to initial reports, the victim, a semi-truck driver, had parked his rig in a vacant lot for a rest. An assailant, armed with a firearm and a small crowbar, entered the truck cabin and assaulted the driver.
Stolen Items
During the attack, the perpetrator struck the driver multiple times with the firearm before fleeing with stolen items, including a cell phone and cash.
Investigative Efforts
The investigation is ongoing, with law enforcement urging anyone with information to come forward. Video footage from inside the truck cabin captured images of the suspect, who was clad in distinctive clothing and accessories.
