Search Continues for Suspects in Omaha Assault

OMAHA, Neb. — Authorities are seeking assistance in identifying two individuals involved in an assault that occurred near 24th and L streets on May 28 at approximately 1:30 p.m. The victim, walking along 24th Street, was approached by two or three teenage boys who directed slurs and derogatory remarks at him.

Assault and Suspect Descriptions

The confrontation escalated when the group reached a nearby parking lot. At this point, two of the teenagers physically attacked the victim, punching him in the face multiple times before fleeing in a gray SUV. Descriptions of the suspects are as follows:

  • Suspect 1: Wore a black tank top and had short black hair.
  • Suspect 2: Wore a red Nike T-shirt and black shorts with wide stripes on the sides.

Both suspects have notable tattoos on their right arms. One features a design on the inside of the forearm, while the other displays a word, possibly a name, on the outside of the forearm. They were last seen leaving the area in a Honda CRV with Nebraska license plates.
