Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered the victim, aged 42, with gunshot wounds. Promptly, officers provided medical assistance to the injured individual and initiated the process of securing the mall premises. Initially perceived as an active shooter situation, the incident’s status evolved as authorities gathered more information.
Suspect Identification and Investigation
Based on eyewitness accounts, authorities identified a possible suspect vehicle and individual. The suspect’s vehicle was later located in Edgewood, MD, as law enforcement endeavors to apprehend the suspect.
