Louisville, Kentucky – A tragic shooting incident at a nightclub in Louisville claimed the lives of two individuals early Saturday morning, as reported by Louisville Metro Police (LMPD).
Scene Details
The shooting occurred in the 200 block of Evangeline Avenue, specifically at The Hot Spot in the Southland Park neighborhood, around 5 a.m. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered a deceased male victim. Additionally, a man and a woman were found with gunshot wounds and were promptly transported to University of Louisville Hospital for medical treatment.
Hospital Arrivals
Shortly after the incident, another man, who had sustained a gunshot wound on Evangeline Avenue, arrived at the hospital for treatment. Sadly, one of the individuals admitted to the hospital succumbed to their injuries, while the others remain in stable condition.
Ongoing Investigation
LMPD’s Homicide Unit has initiated an investigation into the shooting, although the identities of the deceased victims have not yet been disclosed.
