TOMS RIVER, New Jersey – Thieves made off with approximately $1 million in jewelry from Venzio Jewelers in the Ocean County Mall after cutting through an adjacent wall.

The theft occurred between Wednesday at 8 p.m. and Thursday around 10 a.m. at Venzio Jewelers, located within the Ocean County Mall premises. The daring criminals infiltrated the store by cutting a hole in the wall of an adjacent empty store, gaining access to the rear office area of Venzio.

Once inside, the perpetrators severed the phone and alarm cables before employing a torch to breach a substantial safe. They made off with close to $1 million worth of jewelry, leaving authorities perplexed at the precision and audacity of the crime.
