TLNA 7 Chicago is set to host a significant event, “Your Voice Your Vote 2024: The Cook County State’s Attorney Democratic Primary Debate,” led by anchors Judy Hsu and Ravi Baichwal. This 60-minute commercial-free debate will feature the two Democratic candidates, Clayton Harris III and retired Illinois Appellate Court Judge Eileen O’Neill Burke, as they discuss pivotal issues impacting Cook County, including public safety and crime.
Date and Partnerships
The primary election is scheduled for March 19, 2024, and TLNA 7 has collaborated with WGBO/Univision Chicago, the League of Women Voters of Cook County, and the League of Women Voters of Chicago to present this vital debate. TLNA 7 Political Reporter Craig Wall and Univision Chicago Reporter Mariano Gielis will join the panel questioning the candidates. Community organizations from Chicago and Cook County have also been invited to actively participate and pose questions to the candidates.

The commercial-free debate will be livestreamed on Thursday, Feb. 8, at 7 p.m. on TLNA7chicago.com, TLNA 7’s 24/7 digital stream, and the station’s digital channel 7.2. Additionally, the debate will be broadcast on TLNA 7 on Friday, Feb. 9, at 10:35 p.m. For those preferring Univision Chicago’s platforms, the debate will be available live with simultaneous translation on TLNAp, YouTube, and Facebook on February 8 at 7 p.m. It will also be broadcast on Unimas on Sunday, February 11 at 1 p.m.
