However, upon arriving at the venue on May 4, she was met with closed doors and a sign declaring the event’s cancellation. Claiborne Green, co-owner of The Clybourn, expressed bewilderment, indicating that the orchestra’s promoter, ARB Marketing & Entertainment, seemed professional in their dealings.

Promoter’s Mysterious Disappearance Raises Questions

The sudden disappearance of ARB Marketing & Entertainment has left both venue owners and ticket holders in a quandary. Green revealed an email from the company, citing internal issues and impending bankruptcy as reasons for the cancellations. Despite assurances of refunds within 30 days, Kangas and others are yet to receive reimbursement.

Lack of Accountability Sparks Frustration

Efforts to contact ARB Marketing & Entertainment proved futile as their websites are inactive, and emails went unanswered. Ticket Tailor redirected inquiries back to the event organizer, further exacerbating the frustration of affected patrons like Kangas.

Kangas, who also purchased tickets for another event by the same promoter, remains uncertain about the fate of her investment. Meanwhile, venue owners like Green lament missed opportunities and potential financial losses due to the canceled shows.
