Parents of Deceased 5-Year-Old in Silver City Face Felony Charges
Albuquerque, N.M. – The Albuquerque Police Department announced that two individuals suspected of involvement in an April murder have been apprehended by United States Marshals in Alamosa, Colorado. Euphemia Rivas and Jacob Romero stand accused of the killing of Alexander DeHerrera at the Cinnamon Tree Apartments near Central and Louisiana on April 19.

According to the police, the incident occurred when the two suspects allegedly shot DeHerrera with a shotgun while he was seated in his car. Additionally, Rivas’ sister, who was reportedly in a relationship with DeHerrera at the time, was also injured in the altercation.
