Yosemite National Park has partially reopened following a winter storm that prompted closure over the weekend.
Park Reopening Details
Officials announced the reopening after the park was closed due to a blizzard warning. Visitors are now permitted to enter Yosemite National Park via Highway 41 on Wawona Road and Highway 140 on El Portal Road.
Campground Reopenings
Several campgrounds have resumed operations, including Wawona Campground, Camp 4, and Upper Pines Campground. Reservations are necessary for Upper Pines Campground, while Wawona and Camp 4 operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
Road Access
Access to Big Oak Flat Road (an extension of Highway 120 within the park), Badger Pass Road and Ski area, and Hetchy Road will resume on Monday, March 4 at noon.
Weather Conditions
Visitors are cautioned to anticipate snowy conditions across the park and may be required to use tire chains.
